Maths Day

Tuesday, March 14th will be International Maths Day (a.k.a. Pi Day → 3.14 in the USA)! To celebrate, the Maths Department will be holding challenges during interval and lunch time, and you could win HOUSE POINTS!

Interval - F1 - See if you can draw a perfect circle free-hand. Top ten circles win 5 house points.
Interval - F2 - Show that you can calculate pi by hand using a mini whiteboard for 5 house points.
Lunch - F3 - Test your memorisation skills. Memorise 11 digits of pi and win 5 house points. Memorise the most digits of pi and win 50 house points!
Lunch - F2 - Complete the maths mini puzzle challenges and with 5 house points.
Lunch - F1 - Get a slice of pie for a gold coin donation. Donations will go towards the house beaches flood and cyclone recovery.
